TRENDING: Edinson Cavani edges closer than ever to making a return from injury
Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani has been out of action for over a month after receiving a tendon injury. However, he has come out to his social media handle to suggest that he could be back on the field of play in less than no time. Edison Cavani's game time this season The Uruguayan international has had a rough start to this seasons campaign. The last time he featured for the Old Trafford giants was back in November the 2nd. Nonetheless, he was part of the last win for Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he netted for Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspurs. Cavani could be making a return sooner After being out of action for over a month, it is interesting to see that Cavani is back to light training with the Manchester United lads. Which suggests he could be back on the field of play anytime soon. However, as can be seen, the Uruguayan would not be making his return against Young Boys tonight. Probably, he would be available for United's weekend Premier League game. Asides from Cavani, another Manchester United player to be absent is French international, Raphael Varane. Nonetheless, manager Ralf Ragnick pointed that both are back to training and should be expected in action anytime soon. Conclusion The return of Cavani would indeed serve as a major boost for the Manchester United team. Bearing in mind that a handful of goals have come from Cristiano Ronaldo. It would be great to have another goal-scoring striker fit and ready to play as well. Article Writer ✏️ Ordu Daniel
